A long time ago, magic used to define how the world ran, but an ancient catastrophe caused humans to forget that it ever existed, thus leading them to build a new society not centered around the use of magic. Now, after generations of false peace, a college sophomore struggling to stay afloat with her current issues will find more trouble coming her way as the last sovereign of the old world hunts her down.
