Hey, welcome to Inkverse!
There are no pop-ups on Inkverse, no nagging you for more coins every chapter, just a webtoons reader built for people who love webtoons and want to support their favourite indie creators.
Inkverse is open-source, help us create the app you want.

How is Inkverse creator-friendly?

No lock-in. Creators don't upload their comics directly to Inkverse. Instead, they self-host (or use a service like Taddy to distribute to multiple comics apps). This means creators can grow their readership across comic platforms without being locked into Inkverse.
No Inkverse Originals. Most comics platforms have Originals (exclusive) content that they prioritize and heavily promote on their apps. Since all the content on Inkverse is independently owned by comic creator who created it, and not our Originals content, we don’t have the incentive to promote our own stuff over independent comics that readers will love.
Early Access. Creators can connect their Patreon account and make their latest episodes only available to their Patreon backers (episodes can eventually unlock to everyone for free if you choose). This gives your readers an extra incentive to support your Patreon.
Fast Pass. We haven't launched Fast Pass yet, but it's on the roadmap. For creators, it's a new way to earn directly from their super fans. For readers, it gives them the option to unlock exclusive content (without having to commit to being a monthly Patreon backer). When we launch, creators will earn 85% of all revenue from Fast Pass and we will be transparent about how much they earn and how much we charge in fees (most comic platforms are not transparent on this!).

Daniel Mathews - Hey, I'm the founder and software dev for Inkverse and Taddy. Before Inkverse, I was the founder of Podyssey (Goodreads for Podcasts). He was also the Head iOS Instructor at Lighthouse Labs, where he taught 100+ students across Canada how to build iOS and Android apps.
